Deborah Good is a photographic artist living in Durban, South Africa. Her predominantly black and white images evoke the mood and spirit of elemental Africa; its people, animals, landscapes, rocks and trees.
She works with interior decorators, retail outlets, galleries and private individuals, locally and internationally, to produce original art of almost any size (from 10 x 15 prints – 90 x 2580 cm canvases).
Her book entitled “journey", which photographically captures her 5 month trip across Africa, has been a sellout success. She is currently working on 2 more which should be available in 2014.
She runs creative and expressive photography workshops throughout the year, go to the ‘courses’ section to find out more.
Her philosophy?: |
“Know that you are light inside.
Be quiet
and feel your connectedness
to all that is
Experience your eternal self
in the present moment.
Be love: patience, generosity and kindness,
firstly to your self.
Have integrity,
integrate
so what you say and do
match what you feel and believe.
Accept what is, as it is,
no judgement.
Surrender.
Then choose.
Consciously. Responsibly.
And only what supports your spirit.
Drop all expectations, machinations
we are not in control.
Trust, everything has it's reason
Be, it is your season.
